The HOUSE is coming along now...

It's not just dirt any more! We have a septic tank and forms and fill and a retaining wall! Soon there will be plumbing and electrical conduit and concrete! Then sticks! YAY! Still a lot of work and decisions ahead...not a lot of time for deal shopping any more...time to just get what we get.

The "free" rock we asked our neighbors for to build a small retaining wall...I say "free" sarcastically because the headache it has caused to get it moved out of the way after they dumped WAY too much on our property has cost us some time. This isn't even half of it:

My silt fence. This runs all the way across the back of our property to keep construction materials out of the creek bed below:
