Getting Ready for Sheet Rock

To be ready for sheet rock, Matt and I decided we wanted to insulate some of the interior rooms of the house (around the bathrooms, bedrooms that share walls with the hall and the master bedroom). We worked for a few hours Saturday afternoon and then thanks to the White family for sitting with the boys after bedtime so we could go out there Monday and Tuesday nights with construction lights to finish up.

Over the last week, we had spray foam insulation installed. It's really neat stuff...they spray it on the underside of the roof and the exterior walls basically sealing the house. Now that it's all in, it's quiet in there and you can tell a difference from the inside to the outside air for sure. We'll see how it does when it's July/August with the A/C pumping!!!
